After working in my church office for nine years, I was ready for a new challenge that would offer both personal growth and a better work-life balance. As I explored different opportunities, I came across the insurance industry. Trusting my instincts, I took a leap of faith, and I’m so glad I did! This field has brought me fulfillment and flexibility, while allowing me to help others at the same time. I joined LEB Insurance Group in September 2024.

I earned my B.S. in Microbiology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2001 and my M.S. in Microbiology from Austin Peay State University in 2003. In 2024, I completed my Life and Health Insurance certification through Xcel Solutions. My educational background taught me the importance of problem-solving and continual learning; skills that now help me serve my clients with care.

Although I’m still early in my insurance career, I had already written a variety of Life Insurance policies and developed a strong interest in learning Advanced Markets strategies, particularly Indexed Universal Life (IUL) policies. My first year with LEB Insurance Group wasn’t without challenges, as I faced multiple hospitalizations and surgeries. I remained committed, even writing policies from my hospital bed! That perseverance helped me build two businesses and expand into the Health Insurance side of the industry, where I continue to learn every day.

My goal is to keep growing my knowledge and use it to make a positive impact on the lives of my clients. I strive to be a valuable resource to LEB Insurance Group and to achieve the financial goals I’ve set for myself, all while staying true to my personal values: treat others the way you want to be treated. I have big dreams and plan to achieve them all! While insurance can be challenging at times, I tell others, “You need to decide not to let anything stop you. In short, you get out of it whatever you choose to put into it. You're the boss!”

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to church, watching sports, and binge-watching all of my favorite TV series. I’m a proud Alabama football fan (Roll Tide!) even though I live just 20 miles from the University of Tennessee’s stadium. My favorite verse, Jeremiah 29:11, reminds me that God has good plans for my life, and I carry that faith and optimism into everything I do. My family also plays a huge role by guiding and encouraging me in everything that I do, and I’m so grateful for their feedback when I need it most.
